Perfect 6 Pack Abs Tips & Techniques

6 pack abs can be obtained with many different types of workouts. Unfortunately, the problem is finding good exercises that will actually give you the 6 pack you want.

Here you will learn the truth about six pack abs and what unique abdominal exercises that are easy to use and will help you achieve the abs you've wanted for a long time.

You'll also find very important tips and techniques on how to perform each one for maximum results.

There are tons of workouts fitness experts suggest for your ab muscles in order to try and sculpt them or at least develop them to a point where you can actually see them.

These range from basic floor crunches, leg raises, sit-ups, lying hip thrusts, side bends, weighted sit-ups, hanging leg raises etc.

Then there are the different machines on infomercials in magazines etc. that claim to be able to get you 6 pack abs. In short, the list of workouts you can do is almost endless. Unfortunately only some, but not all, of the suggested exercises you read about will help you sculpt a good set of 6 pack abs.

"What You Need To Know Right Now
About 6 Pack Abs"

Lean, muscular 6 pack abs are probably the most sought-after goal for any fitness and exercise program. Good six pack abdominals are also critical to your body core and over-all physique development.

Using exceptionally good exercises with the proper guidance will help you create 6 pack abs with a very positive and powerful visual effect that you can be proud of.

Most people who have obtained impressive 6 pack abs have done so by working very hard over a long period of time. Remember, nothing works over night, it takes dedication and commitment.

The best development you achieve will come from using specific and very effective exercises in conjunction with the ideal nutrition and supplement program that works best for your personal situation and abilities.

Listen, the truth about six pack abs and the reason you're here is that you want visually stimulating six pack abdominals. To do this you need to lose fat, build muscle definition and use your ab workouts to their fullest advantage.

It's a fact that everyone wants either strong abs, visually appealing abdominal muscles or both.

Hopefully you'll take the information we provide you with on this page and use it. You'll not only be able to flatten your abs but define and separate your abdominal muscles, creating that specific 6 pack look that you want.

Hard work and dedication alone are not enough to produce the results most people are looking for from good abdominal exercises - you have to follow a well planned out and clear plan developed by leading experts.

Before we continue, you have to realize this fact and the truth about six pack abs: there are absolutely no workouts or good abdominal exercises, not even the best ab workouts that can burn any fat off your abs to give you amazing abdominal muscles.

What the best workouts will do for you however is drastically strengthen and shape your abdominal muscles so you can see them after you've used other fitness, nutrition & exercise techniques to burn off the layer of fat covering them.

It's unfortunate but true, no abdominal exercises, machines, etc. you see in infomercials, in magazines or in your gym will burn any fat from your stomach.

"Key Exercises For
Six Pack Abdominals"

Floor Crunch: With floor exercises like this you need to be lying on the floor, flat on your back with your knees bent. Place your feet on a chair or resting on a bench. Your neck and head should be relaxed with your hands at the sides of your head.

With the upper portion of your abs roll your upper body up until just your shoulders come off the ground. Concentrate on tensing and contracting the ab muscles holding the contraction throughout the movement. At the top, try to contract your soon to be seen 6 pack abs very intensely.

Slowly lower to the starting position. Again, with any good abdominal exercises you should try to maintain tension in your abs and focus on slow controlled movements. As with all abdominal exercises of this type keep your lower back flat on the ground.

Do not lift your lower back off the ground and actually sit up at any time. This uses more hip flexors than your abdominals.

Oblique Floor Crunches: Oblique floor crunch ab exercises help you define the muscles on the side of your 6 pack abs, known as the obliques.

Lying on the floor, flat on your back with your knees bent, place your feet flat on the floor or resting on a bench. Position your right foot across your left knee.

Again, with all good 6 pack abs exercises you need to make sure that your neck and head are relaxed. Now place your left hand at the side of your head and your right hand on the left side of your abs.

Roll your upper body up with a twisting movement to the right to until your left elbow touches your right knee.

With all abdominal exercises, you need to concentrate and focus on tensing your ab muscles and holding the contraction throughout the time you are doing the actual ab workouts.

Lower your upper body back to the starting position and repeat with the same side. After completing a full set of reps on the left side, switch to your right and follow the same instructions.

Knee-ups: For knee ups you can lie on a bench or on your back on the ground with your arms out on the ground at 90 degrees to the trunk.

Prior to starting each rep, "set" your pelvis, then lift, aiming, to hold that pelvis position throughout. Simply lift your knees towards your upper body then return to the starting position and repeat.

Vacuum Contraction: While you may be familiar with some of these good abdominal exercises, vacuum contractions are very unique among 6 pack abs workouts.

Vacuum contractions are one of the good abdominal exercises that many people outside of body building circles have never heard of or tried but they work tremendously well for sculpting great 6 pack abs.

Lying flat on your back on the floor with your feet together and your arms at your sides, simply suck in your stomach intensely and hold it until it "burns". Usually 90seconds or so, this equals 1 set.

Because the inner unit muscles attach from the pelvic floor to the lower spine, you'll feel a burn from front to back.

Again this, as with the other good abdominal exercises, looks simple but its very challenging. It may take you a few weeks to be able to hold your abs for 90 seconds but it's worth it.

Lying Leg Thrusts: For lower abdominal exercises of this type you again will need to lie on your back. But this time put your feet together, knees in a locked position and your arms tucked under your buttocks.

Put your hands, palms down, under your butt, and keep your head on the floor as you look up at the ceiling.

To begin leg thrust lower abdominal exercises you start by doing a typical leg raise, but when you get your legs pointed straight up then just thrust your hips upward (kind of like you were stamping your feet into the ceiling).

It's important during ab workouts like this to keep your legs locked at all times. Your hips will only actually move an inch or so but that's all that it takes. Then lower your legs down until your feet are about one inch from the ground and repeat.
