Testosterone cream is much safer than injections

I started by going to a physician due to low libido. I was given testosterone cream and within a reasonable time I had a strong desire for sex. It worked just fine. Then, since I lift weights regularly I wanted to use testosterone to build muscle mass. I used a "normal" dose of injected Testosterone, but over time I used more and more until I was shooting it 3 times per week taking anywhere from 1000 to 1200 mg per week.
Yes, my libido was out of control needing to have sex much more than most 57 year old men. I gained about 30 lbs. and got big and muscular. The problem is my blood pressure increased dramatically, and my bad cholesterol was very high. My kidney function tests were out of normal range. I also had affairs in my marriage out of an inflated ego and the sense of being above everything else. I have been off of injections now for about 6 weeks.
I, because of over use and crashing, cannot maintain an erection or ejaculate. I never rested and took the injections non-stop for about 18 months. I just started to use the cream again hoping to restore my ability to have sex. So, be very careful with ANY use of testosterone as it can spiral out of control and use only if you are under the care of a physician.
